Summit School of Dance has dominated the competitive dance scene since we started the program in 1985. Our nationally-ranked performing team consists of 14 groups focusing on jazz, hip hop, lyrical and acrobatics. Our competition staff is dedicated to fostering an intensive, creative and structured program for our dancers to grow and perform at the highest level.
With summer workshops and mandatory dance classes, we are one of the top competitive dance programs in North New Jersey. Competing and performing all over the tri-state area, the SSOD competition team has taken home countless awards including “Top Score of the Day” and “Best Choreography” to name a few.
This year alone the SSOD competition team took home a total of 87 awards with 36 top category awards—bravo to our amazing dancers!
